The shipping manager application is a web based solution for managing the international shipping process and is the operating system we use to deliver the shipping manager service that is now available from Logistics Cost Reduction Solutions.
Let us take the control of your international shipping process from the moment you place your purchase order right through until the time the order is delivered to your nominated location at the final destination.
Once you place your order we will contact your suppliers to ensure that they have made arrangements to deliver the goods to your nominated freight forwarder on or before the expected ready date.
Purchase order information can be received via email, in the form of report that can be imported into the shipping manager system or in some instances via an API connected to your operating / financial system.
Once the arrangements have been made we will confirm with the freight forwarder that they have a booking with the shipping company or airline, the order has been booked to arrive in line with your expected delivery date and all the required shipping documents have been received.
We will also ensure the supplier delivers the order to the nominated freight station the freight forwarder hands over the cargo to shipping company or airline as per the relevant cut off times.
We will then monitor the order while it is in transit and if there are any delays you will be alerted immediately while we work with your freight forwarder to ensure that the impact is minimized.
Once the order arrives we will make sure it customs cleared and delivered to your nominated location ASAP.
Throughout the entire process you will have full visibility to the status of your order via the web based shipping manager application and the appropriate stakeholder will receive a series of emails as and when the various milestones are met.
